Oral Cancer Prevention

Dr. Polancich understands the importance of detecting oral cancer early. If caught early enough, this form of cancer is one of the most treatable. At each hygiene visit, Dr. Polancich and his hygienist will perform an oral cancer examination to identify any soft tissue abnormalities. This regular visual examination provides a comprehensive oral screening procedure for patients at increased risk for oral cancer. We have discovered numerous cases of oral cancer early enough to be successfully treated.
