Dental Implants, Dentures & Bridgework
An incomplete set of teeth can make life miserable! Most people take teeth for granted until they’re gone. If you struggle daily with eating, speaking, and smiling because of missing teeth, reclaim your oral health and beauty and all the benefits that come along with it. Dr. Polancich replaces missing teeth with crown and bridgework, full or partial dentures, and dental implants.
Partials replace multiple, non-adjacent missing teeth on an upper or lower arch. The replacement teeth are secured to a gum-colored base, and the appliance snaps onto surrounding teeth with hidden clasps. Full dentures replace all teeth on an upper or lower arch. On a denture, replacement teeth are secured to a gum-colored base that stays in place with natural suction or denture adhesive. Alternately, dentures and partials can be secured to dental implant posts for optimal stability.
Dental implants replace teeth roots to provide a solid, stable anchor for replacement teeth. A single implant can replace one tooth, or a few implants can hold a bridge, partial, or denture in place. Dr. Polancich works closely with oral surgeons and periodontists in an interdisciplinary approach to implant dentistry. He will oversee your case and coordinate with specialists for optimal results.
Schedule your consultation to discuss a bridge, partial, denture, or implants by calling 859-278-8419 today. As a cosmetic, restorative, and general dentist, Dr. Robert W. Polancich cares for families in Nicholasville, Winchester, Richmond, Georgetown, Lexington, and beyond. Our dental office is conveniently located across from the Central Baptist Hospital on the corner of Rosemont and Nicholasville Road. We love to welcome new patients to our practice and can’t wait to see you.
To replace one or more teeth in a row, a bridge (crown and bridge system) attaches to crowned teeth on either side of the missing teeth. A bridge is a fixed/non-removable appliance. For a more independent solution, bridges can be secured to dental implant posts.
